Consultation
Once you contact us we will set up an appointment for a consultation. During the consultation we will fit your baby to the correct size diaper and cover and give you a demonstration on how to use the cloth diapers. We can also set up your changing area and give you some helpful hints to make the diapering easier on you and your family. We will pick out the style, fabric and design of your covers and set up the number of diapers for weekly delivery, appropriate for you baby.

The following Monday, we will drop off your diapers and any other accessories that you have ordered. (If you need an additional consult we can do it at this time but we will need to know ahead of time to set aside proper time for you)

The following Monday we will be at your home to pick up the soiled diapers. You will set out the diapers in the bag(s) provided with the tag we left at drop off. You will need to put the number of clean diapers (you have left) on the backside of the tag. We will replace the number of soiled diapers. This way you always have the number of diapers available to you that we agreed on during your consultation.

If there are additional items that you need OR you want to increase or decrease the numbers of diapers we leave, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance with the change to be sure you get what you need on drop off day.

Missed pickups
To avoid missed pickups, we will contact you the night before we are coming to pickup/dropoff. In the event that you forget to leave out your soiled diapers, we will still leave a clean bundle for you. We will pick up 2 weeks worth of soiled diapers the following week. If both weeks of diapers are not out for us to pick up on the third week, there will be an additional charge of $25 above and beyond your normal charges.

Billing
Sonrise Diaper Service will bill monthly. Your first payment (pro-rated for the month) is due on the service start date. We will invoice (via Paypal, unless other arrangements are made) on the 25th of every month with payment being due on or before the 1st.
We accept cash, personal checks and Paypal (preferred method of payment). You may also have your account charged automatically - call our office for details. If you choose to pay by check or cash, please attach your payment in an envelope to the soiled diaper TAG on your bag to be picked up.

Additional service policies
Please contact us at least 1 week prior to your move and we will pick up ALL of your diapers (clean and soiled) and hold delivery until the date determined by you and deliver to your new address at that time.

If you are going on vacation please contact us 1 week prior to your departure to let us know and we will pick up ALL your diapers (clean and soiled) and hold delivery until the date specified.

We will deliver as usual on every holiday except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. If delivery day falls on one of these days you will be notified in advance of the special holiday delivery schedule.

As a general rule, we are servicing the Capital Region and outlying areas. Areas outside the standard 15 mile service area may result in a nominal surcharge.

Gift Certificates, Baby Registry and Referrals
We can provide you with a gift certificate and all delivery arrangements can be made by phone. Please inform the recipient, however, that unless they notify us…their service will continue and when the gift has expired, the recipient will be responsible for further billings.
Baby registries will be kept by Sonrise. You will need to contact us to get registry information. We offer free gift wrap and delivery of any products or services (within service delivery area) to a baby shower destination with adequate notice.

Customers using Sonrise Diaper Service will receive one free week of service when someone they have referred starts using our service. Our main advertising is word of mouth and we want you to know that we appreciate ALL the advertising we get!!
